The last month we have had some special visitors. The green iguana which is a protected animal here in Costa Rica lives in the lot next door to us. We see them every so often. Yesterday I spotted a couple in the cacao trees, a male and female. The male was real proud of itself and was displaying for the female.

The other strange visitor which is very uncommon to this region was a Black Hawk Eagle.
Very interesting bird to say the least, it was only here for about 30 seconds before flying away….. Costa Rica is like Discovery Channel on steroids, sometimes.
